A Little About Me 

I study writing at the Scarsdale Writers Center, The Writing Institute of Sarah Lawrence College, and Westport Writers Workshop. As a retired teacher with a B.S. and M.Ed in Reading & Language from Boston University, I write across genre from historical fiction and women's fiction to chapter books picture books and picture books, middle grade, essays, and memoir. I enjoy researching topics that surprise me. As for hobbies, I swim, bake, and garden and love to hear seniors share their immigration stories. Fascinated with chick and duck hatchings, I enjoy taking photographs of birds with their broods. I live with my family in Westchester, NY. My written pieces have appeared online in blogs, magazines, and in print.
